Entrepreneurship Boot Camp Held at SDM PG Centre, Ujire

Ujire: A one-day Entrepreneurship Development Boot Camp titled “Stimulating Entrepreneurial Spirit 4.0” was held on October 24 at the SDM Postgraduate Centre, Ujire. The event was organized by the Department of B.Voc in Retail and Supply Chain Management, SDM College, for students of B.Voc and SDM PU College, Ujire.
Chief guest Shreya Shetty, entrepreneur and founder of Cloud Castle Café, Ujire, inaugurated the event and encouraged students to explore entrepreneurship by sharing her own business journey and insights on women’s entrepreneurship.
Presiding over the programme, Principal Dr. Vishwanath P. emphasized the need for students to upgrade their thinking to succeed in today’s competitive world and appreciated the department for organizing an innovative initiative.
Dr. Sowmya B. P., Dean of the PG Centre, and Ashwith H. R., Programme Coordinator, were present. The camp featured talks by successful entrepreneurs Monica Neelofer Dsouza and Suhas, founder of Marike Sweets and Ice Creams, Puttur. RUDSETI Director Ajeya also briefed students about financial support schemes available for start-ups from government and banking institutions.
