Dr. Nefisath P., Associate Professor, Department of PG Studies and Research in
Chemistry, has been sanctioned the prestigious Early Career Research Award carrying a grant of Rs. 10 lakh by the Vision Group on Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka to undertake research in the area of Medicinal ad Synthetic Organic Chemistry titled ‘Evaluation of metal (II) complexes of 2-[3-cyano-4-(2-methylpropoxy)phenyl]-4-methyl-1,3-thiazole-5-carbohydrazide as Anticancer agents’. Dr. Sujay M. M., Assistant Professor, Department of PG Studies and Research in Chemistry, serves as the Co-Principal Investigator of the project. The achievement has been appreciated by the Management and Principal of the College and wished the research team success in the
effective execution of the project and in furthering their research contributions.
