The Department of Retail and Supply Chain Management is set to host a launch event for 16 student start-ups established by final-year students. The inauguration ceremony will take place at 11:30 AM on 10 April 2026 at Seminar Hall II, SDM PG Centre, Ujire.
The event will be graced by Dr Satheeshchandra S, Secretary of the SDME Society, Ujire, who will attend as the Chief Guest. The Guests of Honour for the occasion will be Dr Sowmya B P, Dean of the SDM PG Centre, Ujire, and Dr Suveer Jain, B.Voc Course Coordinator at SDM College, Ujire.
The official inauguration is to be performed by Mrs Archana Pai, founder of ‘Sandhya Fresh’, Ujire, while Dr Vishwanatha P, the college Principal, will preside over the proceedings.
These entrepreneurial ventures have been developed under the guidance of Mr Ashwith HR, Assistant Professor in the Department of Retail and Supply Chain Management at SDM College (Autonomous), Ujire, who will also serve as the programme coordinator.
