The Department of Kannada organised ARIVINA DEEVIGE programme in memory of Dr. B. Yashovarma and hosted a guest lecture in the same programme on the topic Bhagavadgeethe Mattu Shikshana. Dr. Veena Bannanje, well known spiritual thinker addressed the gathering at the Indraprastha Auditorium of the college on January 30, 2026. Prof.Vishwanatha P. Principal of the College presided over the session. Dr. Hemavathi V. Heggade, Dharmasthala, Dr. Satheeshchandra S., Secretary of SDME Society, Ms. Supriya Harshendra Kumar Dharmasthala, Ms. Soniya Yashovarma Ujire, Dr Bojamma K. N, HOD of Kannada and all the faculties and other dignitaries were present in the programme. Prof. N. Shridhara Bhat did welcme the guests and vote of thanks. Dr. Diva Kokkada co-ordinated the program. 1500 students benefitted from this programme.
