SDM Educational Institutions (SDMEI) in Ujire, Karnataka, celebrated the 75th Republic Day with a grand ceremony on January 26, 2024. The event was held at the SDM College stadium and was attended by students, faculty, and staff from all SDMEI schools and colleges.
The ceremony began with the hoisting of the national flag by Shri Sharath Krishna Padavetnaya, Managing Trustee of the Shree Janardhana Swami Temple, Ujire. Dr. Satishchandra S, Secretary of SDMEI, all heads of the other SDM institution was also present.
Following the flag hoisting, the students presented a variety of cultural performances, including dances, skits, and tableaux. The performances highlighted India’s rich history and culture, as well as the country’s achievements in the past 75 years.
