SDM College celebrated 75th Independence Day, ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ on 15 August 2021 marking the completion of a quarter to a century of freedom. Dr. B. Yashovarma, Secretary, SDM Educational Society ® Ujire, unfurled the National Flag at Sri. D. Rathnavarma Heggade Stadium, Ujire. It was followed by a National anthem sung by the students saluting the tricolor with a guard of honour. Principals of SDM College (Autonomous) Ujire, PU College Ujire, SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Science Ujire, SDM Institute of Technology Ujire, SDM English and Kannada Medium High Schools Ujre as well as Registrars, Deans, HoDs of various Departments and faculty members witnessed the programme.
