Ujire, July 31: Renowned YouTuber Nitin Poojari emphasized the need for patience and consistency in creating content for digital media during an interaction with students of the Department of Digital Media and Film Making at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College in Ujire.
Poojari, who runs the popular YouTube channel “Charitra”, was speaking at the annual event of the department’s student association, LUMOS. He highlighted the importance of creating content that conveys a message to the audience, rather than just following trends.
“Creating content for digital media is a profession now, but it requires patience and consistency to succeed,” Poojari said. “One needs to identify what kind of content works best and what they are passionate about. Only then can they achieve success.”
Poojari also shared his personal experiences, from his academic days to his journey as a YouTuber, and the challenges he faced along the way. He encouraged students to develop a reading habit to broaden their knowledge and enhance their creativity.
The event also saw the release of trailers of seven short films made by students of the department. The films, directed by Srinidhi Navathe, Neeksha Manjunath, Prithvish Kumar, Vishnu, Lohith, Tarun, and Yogesh and Sahana, respectively, were showcased to the audience.
Principal Dr. B.A. Kumar Hegde presided over the event, while Madhav Holla, head of the department, delivered the welcome address. Student association staff in-charge Ashwini Jain presented the annual report, and the new office bearers of the association were sworn in.
