The Dept. of PG Studies & Research in Physics organised a Guest Lecture followed by Career Orientation session for students on 22 April, 2026. Dr. Shivananda CS (Associate Prof. in Physics, Sir MVIT, Bengaluru) was the resource person and the topic was “Superconductivity: The Quantum Engine for the Future”.
Staff and students of the Dept. along with Open Elective students from Chemistry and Statistics attended the session at AV 01 (PG Centre). The lecture was followed by a career orientation session on emerging trends and technologies, startup and research opportunities in the field.
