Dr. B.A. Kumar Hegde, Principal of SDM College, emphasized the importance of adapting new ideas in line with people’s nature, social needs, and priorities, stating that this adaptability aids entrepreneurial innovation. He made these remarks while inaugurating a three-day boot camp titled "Impact of Ideas; Boot Camp for Future Entrepreneurs," organized by the B.Voc Retail and Supply Chain Management department in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Development Unit at the SDM Post Graduate Center today.
During the event, final-year students from the B.Voc Retail and Supply Chain Management department showcased 15 diverse startups, including handmade crafts, food products, event management, technical services, financial consulting, and travel agencies.
Ashwith H.R., head of the department, delivered the introductory remarks. The event was attended by Mahmad Bashil Khader, Director of Deccan Group of Companies, and Swati B. and Suman Jain, coordinators from the Entrepreneurship Development Unit. Isha welcomed the guests, Shambhavi introduced them, Archana offered the vote of thanks, and Anusha hosted the event.
