Department of B.Voc in Digital Media and Film Making organized a state level fest titled ‘B.Voc Apex’ on 13th August 2022. Mr. Vivek Alva, Managing Trustee of Alva’s Education Foundation inaugurated the event. Mr. Pooran Varma from SDM Educational Society, Dr. Bhaskar Hegde, HOD of Department of Journalism were present. Dr. BP Sampath Kumar presided over the inauguration.
Eleven different colleges participated in a total of 8 events pertaining to digital media and film making fields. Mr. Sachin Shetty of ‘Shutterbox Films’ fame handed over the prizes to the winners at the valedictory ceremony. Alva’s College Moodubidre bagged the overall championship and Srinivas University Mangalore bagged the overall runners’ trophy.
