The Academic Council of the college consists of
- The Principal as the Chairperson.
- The Heads of all the Departments of the College as the members.
- Four teachers of the college representing different faculties by rotation based on seniority of service in the college holding clean records.
- Not less than four experts from outside representing such areas as Industry, Commerce, Law, Education and Management nominated by the Governing Body.
- Three nominees of the University.
- A faculty member nominated by the Principal as the Member Secretary.
